Orchestra Pizza Wyoming

Usually our days consist of work and school and work and school. Lauren is in the USU Symphony this semester and she had her first concert last week. A guy named Mark O'Conner who was the composer of the piece they played came and was the soloist. He made up the entire five movements on the spot which was pretty dang cool!

On another night we decided to spice up dinner and make it a little more interesting so we had a pizza contest. The dough was the same but we had to come up with toppings, and it was a surprise we didn't know what each other had until we were making them. Cameron who won the contest made a fabulous pizza that had mozzerella, smoked munster, corn, ham, once the pizza was cooked he topped it off with grape tomatoes. It was delicious!

Lauren had a much more intricate recipe. She had ricotta cheese, feta cheese, lemon juice, lemon zest, purple onions, artichoke hearts, proscuitto and mozzerella cheese. I was good but not quite good enough to win. It needed a little something different. 

At the end of the night the pizza competition was a success! We will definately do it again!

Last but not least we were able to get out of Logan for a little while and headed up to Star Valley, Wyoming. While we were up there we helped our neice Abby build a snow fort and decorate it! It is beautiful, thank you pinterest for your wonderful ideas. We also pulled her behind the ATV with her sled. It was so fun to see her reactions when uncle Cameron decided to go a little faster or hit a good bump! Afton does not plow the side streets in the winter so it is a sheet of ice, before we put the ATV away we did a little drifting and slid around in front of the house. I was a beautiful somewhat warm and sunny weekend!
